There was no one quite like Wooton. When he wasn’t delivering mail, creating new comic-book characters, or looking for new ice-cream flavors, Wooton was helping the kids in some very unique ways. Before he was born, Wooton’s parents had considered giving their children names starting with the letter X, but they realized that there weren’t many names starting with X besides Xavier, although Wooton always wanted to be named Xylophone. There was a sonogram of him with his twin brother Wellington Bassett, who was sucking Wooton’s thumb.
